Tips for Losing Fat and Gaining Mucles

To lose fat gain muscle faster, you have to build a foundation of proper nutrition and exercise. But of course, you knew that. This is nothing new. However there is still big problems with the diet and exercises regimen that most overweight people use.
First off, most dieters and too concerned with losing weight, rather than lose fat build muscle. You see weight loss and fat loss are not one and the same. You can lose weight and actually end up with more body fat.
Weight loss involved bones, muscles, organs and water. Yes water. Many people lose water weight but that is not enough. What you want to do is to lower your body fat levels. That is the sign that you are on the right track to a leaner, healthier, sexier body.
Many dieters cut calories drastically thinking that is the key to a leaner body. Actually it could be the key to a fatter body. When you "starve yourself into losing weight, you invariably end up losing a lot of lean muscle mass. Low calorie diets tend to slow down your metabolic rate tremendously. In other words, your body becomes less efficient at burning fat.
The best approach to dieting is to cut calories moderately and to eat a balanced diet. The rule of thumb is to lose about 1% of your weight weekly. Trying to shed the pounds too fast is the road to failure and loss of muscle mass.
You see, the more lean muscle mass you have, the higher your metabolic rate is running. Muscle burns more calories than fat does. Bodybuilders have a higher metabolic rate than the average person because they have so much muscle mass. This is why it is important to lose fat gain muscle.
Of course, exercise is a vital part of fat burning and muscle building. But you have to ensure that you are doing the right type of exercises - and I am not just talking about lifting weights specifically. I am talking about the most efficient exercises to lose fat gain muscle.
